Responsibilities
Maintain a visible and professional presence while on post and patrol and engage with guests and employees, while maintaining a high amount of knowledge about the property's offerings and services; seek to delight guests while maintaining the fundamental focus of the security department
Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect and help the team to reach common goals and comply with firm standards and expectations
Patrol guest room floors, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access; Conduct daily physical hazard or safety inspections, investigations and maintain integrity of the key control process
Handle all issues and complaints in a professional and composed manner and assist guests/employees during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, gather information and complete reports
Operate property motor vehicles on and off campus; enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum one year of recent experience in security guard force in the hospitality industry
High school diploma required
Proficiency in the use of current business applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related security applications
Strong communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period; flexibility to work on any shift as needed
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are preferred
Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification preferred
