Senior Software & System Safety Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software & System Safety Engineer to provide technical leadership for system and software safety activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and conducting hazard analyses.

Responsibilities
Evaluate safety-critical software functions, failure modes, and errant missile risk
Support Safety Review Boards, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), and executive-level briefings
Collaborate with systems, software, test, and reliability engineering teams to mitigate safety risks
Support verification, validation, and compliance audits (DCMA, Government safety)
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field. Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
5+ years of experience in system safety and/or software safety engineering
Experience producing and briefing safety documentation to Government stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Experience leading safety efforts across multiple IPTs
