They are seeking a creative and self-motivated Project Architect / Designer who will collaborate with the project team, manage project documentation, and mentor other team members to ensure quality work and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with project team throughout project duration including coordination of external consultants
Manage project documentation production
Assist in developing project design schedules and fees
Manage project progress to meet design schedules and fees
Manage and mentor other team members to accomplish goals and meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
5 Year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
5+ years of professional experience in the field of architecture
Proficiency with software including AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
License to practice Architecture in the state of Oregon (or another state) or demonstratable progress in the licensing process
Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally
Commitment to working as part of a team
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
Preferred
Working knowledge of sustainable design practices in architecture including daylight analysis, improved envelope design, solar gain and shading, etc
Familiarity with developing and writing specifications
Familiarity with the Oregon Structural Specialty Code and code analysis
A working knowledge of building enclosure concepts and design
