Responsibilities

Develop the vision and implementation strategy, and leading all process improvement efforts for the Inventory and Replenishment department (fresh and non-perishables)
Lead and develop the Demand Planning and Process Improvement team
Lead and develop the analytics and process improvement teams for the Inventory and Replenishment department, including hiring, talent management, organizational evolution and compensation planning
Oversee the Replenishment Evolution project
Ensure the organization is using a single high-quality forecast in all of its replenishment processes
Improve the forecast and its application by staying current on the latest industry concepts and technological advancements regarding demand planning
Search for other areas of the business that could benefit from a high quality demand forecast and help ensure proper integration
Ensure departmental strategic projects are properly scoped, prioritized, staffed and delivering stated objectives
Support internal and external partners’ project management needs
Ensure best practices are in place for both fresh and non-perishable replenishment procedures, including procedures, systems and software applications
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Required

5+ years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, business process re-engineering or process improvement utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodology
5+ years' experience leading a team
2+ years direct project management experience
Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
Ability to prioritize and assign work according to business priorities and strategies
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Understanding of organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes and technologies
Ability to direct the development and documentation of business processes; experience in re-engineering business processes from current state to future state
Ability to escalate issues appropriately and drive them to resolution
Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to drive toward solutions
Ability to maintain a solutions-focused approach
