Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter to support our global technology client in driving high‑quality hiring across Legal and Public Policy functions. This role requires strong independent sourcing ability and exceptional stakeholder partnership skills. The Legal Recruiter will manage the full sourcing lifecycle and provide market insights based on trends within the legal industry.

Responsibilities

Independently source, identify, and engage top talent for critical roles within the Legal and/or Public Policy organizations
Partner closely with hiring managers and internal teams to understand ideal candidate profiles and build robust, diverse talent pipelines
Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including research strategies, outreach, assessment alignment, and candidate engagement
Apply extensive industry knowledge, judgment, and creativity to develop sourcing solutions for highly specialized roles
Execute a variety of recruiting functions with autonomy, balancing workload across multiple requisitions
Provide market insights and sourcing recommendations based on trends within the legal industry
Maintain consistent communication with leaders, typically reporting to a manager or department head

Required

5+ years of overall recruiting experience
2+ years of legal recruiting experience
Demonstrated ability to source and engage talent in the legal arena (in‑house, law firm, or both)
Proven experience working independently to build and maintain candidate pipelines
Strong communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills
Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to legal recruitment
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

Prior recruiting experience within the Legal industry at a global tech company or law firm
Ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy
Creative approach to sourcing and candidate engagement
