Responsibilities
Prepare bankruptcy-related motions, judgments, stipulations, objections, complaints, notices, and orders
Research and retrieve relevant documents from various client databases
Update and maintain accurate information across multiple client systems
Electronically file legal documents with state and federal courts
Manage calendaring of deadlines, hearings, and key case milestones
Coordinate and schedule court hearings, meetings, and related appointments
Provide responsive, professional customer service to clients, courts, and internal team members
Monitor and track timelines to ensure all legal and client deadlines are met in alignment with performance expectations
Perform additional duties and support tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm environment
Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program or accredited post‑secondary institution; or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and an ABA‑approved paralegal certificate; or an equivalent blend of education and experience
Proficiency with a wide range of software and legal technology, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Black Knight, Equator, LPS, Tempo, Westlaw, PACER, and ECF
Preferred
Bankruptcy or mortgage servicing experience preferred but not required
