Responding to constituents’ requests for help with federal agencies
Building and managing relationships with community stakeholders
Facilitating regional policy issues in coordination with legislative colleagues
Representing the Senator at meetings and events (some of which will occur in the evenings and on weekends)
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to thrive independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
Positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license
Reliable access to a car to travel to in-person events two to three days per week
Preferred
Past experience in constituent services
Past experience in issue advocacy
Past experience in community organizing
