Responsibilities

Work on projects including the design of new structures as well as existing structural upgrades
Assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for projects
Communicate structural requirements on paper and in the model
Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed
Manage your own workload and meet commitments regarding schedule, budget, and quality requirements

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with a clear emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
This position is considered project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (within approximately 50 miles of site)
Internet service with a MINIMUM speed of 25Mbps download/10Mbps upload as required to effectively meet project performance requirements (higher internet speed is recommended)

Preferred

MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
Previous relevant internship experience in Structural Engineering, preferably with experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
Ability to work within the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
