Responsibilities
Creation of project structures (SAP and EcoSys)
Creation of networks and activities to support the requisition process
Work closely with Project Managers and Cost Specialists to establish and input the initial budget
Review and validate invoices and purchase orders for compliance with cost coding and budget allocations
Submit monthly accruals
Assist with invoice issues, including resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payment processing
Facilitate asset registration
Manage commitments
Assist the Cost Specialist with reporting requirements
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required

Preferred
5+ years of cost control or cost engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry
Strong knowledge of cost management principles and tools
Proficiency in cost control and reporting software (SAP, Excel, or similar systems)
Experience supporting large projects or multiple small projects with increasing responsibility, complexity, and scope
Good understanding of project execution processes and cross-functional interactions
Experience working with major EPC firms or oil & gas operators
Proficiency with EcoSys and Power BI
Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP, or similar
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
