Capital Projects Specialist

Responsibilities
Coordinate with Training to properly train team members on specific product policies, process and execution
Ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long- term goals
Take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with senior leadership as well as other staff members
Oversee and coordinate special projects as it relates to capital expenditures and insurance claims from concept to completion
Manage yearly pond inspection program and requirements
Project management based on departments strategic initiatives and vision/mission
Prepare reports for team members and senior leadership regarding status of projects
Support special projects within Property Operation initiatives
Bid for projects assigned
Complete FHA, ADA and Compliance work assignments
Assist in yearly budgeting process to provide feedback on capital expenditures requests and the execution of yearly capital projects approved
Assist in execution of yearly capital projects approved, assist in scopes for capital projects
All other related duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
3-5 years experience Required
In lieu of Bachelor's Degree- 5-7 years of Project Management Experience Required
Landscape Management Experience Required
General computer proficiency
Travel is required
Preferred

Excellent time management skills
Strong communication skills and general business acumen
The ability to communicate and interact with employees at all organizational levels
Proven ability to plan, organize and implement multiple tasks/projects on a concurrent, real-time basis
