Assembly Process Engineer

Crown Staffing is looking for a hands-on Assembly Process Engineer to help streamline and improve assembly and manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and warehouse teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across product lines.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement improvements to machinery and assembly processes
Create and maintain clear work instructions and assembly schedules
Recommend improvements to product designs and BOMs to optimize production
Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with multiple teams to solve workflow and production challenges
Travel occasionally (up to 25%)
Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately

Required

3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar experience
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and DFMA principles
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Kaizen: 1 year (Required)
DFMA: 1 year (Required)
Lean manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
