Responsibilities
Developing monthly, annual, and project lifetime cost forecasts
Managing contractor project controls deliverables in conjunction with contractual requirements
Assembling project financial status reports
Managing and administering project change control activities
Communicating project financial performance with upper management
Qualification
Required
Well organized and detail oriented
Demonstrable skills and knowledge related to the administration and management of project cost control activities and cost forecasting on large-scale construction projects, or a large portfolio of projects
Firm understanding of how to interpret engineering and construction contracts and ensure adherence to project controls requirements for such contracts
Effective communication skills both in writing and verbally with upper management and project team members
Ability to understand and interpret project schedules in order to effectively forecast project costs
Proficiencies in basic computing skills and the use of Excel spreadsheets
Experience implementing project controls methodologies on large-scale construction projects, or a large portfolio of projects
Verifiable work experience where they were directly involved with cost management and control activities on large-scale construction projects, or a large portfolio of projects
Preferred
Experience using SAP
Higher educational degrees in construction/project management or engineering
Degrees in business, accounting, or finance
Certifications from PMI or AACE
