Senior Level Linux System Administrator

They are seeking a motivated Senior Level Linux System Administrator to monitor, update, and support a THAAD Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and simulation lab, requiring strong Linux, networking, and security skills.

Responsibilities

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of system hardware and software on multiple Linux platforms to include RHEL 7, RHEL 8 and RHEL 9
Network switch configuration and maintenance
Provide support for systems and users during MDA test events
Complete cybersecurity scans for the lab systems
Provide troubleshooting support for hardware and software
Manage user accounts on classified systems using multi-factor authentication
Performing system backups and restores
As required, develop Plans of Action & Mitigation (POA&M) to document deviations from approved DISA STIG requirements
Ability to step through automating Operating System builds (Ansible)

Required

US Citizenship
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years related Linux systems administration experience
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, customer focused work environment
Networks experience
Must have an Active Secret Clearance
Linux+ and Security+ certifications
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of system hardware and software on multiple Linux platforms to include RHEL 7, RHEL 8 and RHEL 9
