Business Development Specialist
Always Best Care Senior Services is a company that provides non-medical in-home care and assisted living placement services. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist who will focus on promoting services, driving referral growth, and expanding brand presence within the community through relationship building and outreach activities.

Responsibilities
Develop and nurture strong relationships with key referral sources
Regularly visit skilled nursing facilities, doctor's offices, hospitals, and other potential referral partners to introduce Always Best Care and build brand awareness
Conduct outbound marketing activities to engage with referral sources and drive referral growth by maintaining meaningful conversations and providing timely follow-ups
This includes in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and participation in community events
Actively promote our services to obtain potential referral sources, ensuring they understand the unique benefits of non-medical senior care
Work closely with the Client Services, HR departments, and other team members to ensure cohesive marketing strategies
Support the intake team by parsing leads and ensuring potential clients are followed up with promptly
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, including community events, to subtly promote Always Best Care services
Qualification
Required
Candidate must currently reside in Chester County
Prior experience in sales, marketing, or community relations, preferably within the senior care or healthcare industry
Entrepreneurial experience is highly valued
A candidate who has personal experience caring for an older parent or family member will have an advantage in understanding the needs of our clients
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
Professional appearance and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Self-starter with a passion for senior care
Ability to work independently in the field and motivated to exceed sales targets
Comfortable working outside of traditional business hours as needed
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing with homecare, hospice homecare or senior services preferred
Results-driven, confident, and competitive with a strong motivation to exceed goals
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence others, and foster trust across diverse audiences
Compassionate and mission-driven, passionate about improving the lives of seniors with integrity and discretion
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities and active listening
Demonstrates sound judgment, effective decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills
Must be resilient, persistent, and comfortable navigating regular pushback from referral partners while maintaining professionalism and optimism
Highly organized with strong planning, follow-up, and time management capabilities
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, small team or start-up environments
Adaptable and proactive in ambiguous or evolving situations, skilled at building and improving processes and systems
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with client-facing roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn agency-specific tools and applications
Willingness to complete relevant training and certifications within the first 6 months of employment
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance are required

Basic understanding of medical terminology related to senior care and rehabilitation preferred
