Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages or discrepancies
Efficiently and accurately put away received items in designated storage locations
Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible inventory system, including proper labeling and categorization of items
Collaborate with relevant teams to determine inventory needs and initiate orders for restocking as required
Ensure that all inventory items meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, adjustments, and disposals
Work closely with other departments, including pharmacy and procurement teams, to address inventory-related needs
Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory control and contribute to the implementation of best practices
Will periodically be driving a 28 foot box truck between our facilities as needed, therefore a clean driving record is a must
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience (2+ years) in inventory, preferably in a pharmaceutical or compounding pharmacy environment
Must have a clean driving record
A clean criminal record with no felonies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory data
Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments
Ability to lift and move boxes and other inventory items
Preferred
Additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus
