Responsibilities
Gather, clean, and consolidate category data from internal systems and external suppliers to provide clear insights for sourcing strategies
Identify cost-saving opportunities by reviewing spend patterns, material specifications, benchmark data, and should-cost analyses
Support sourcing events by managing supplier lists, preparing specifications, assembling pricing tools, and coordinating all RFX requirements
Produce post-event evaluations, including pricing comparisons, scoring summaries, and award scenario analysis using sourcing platforms
Maintain and update dashboards and spend reports to track category performance
Monitor the sourcing timeline to ensure deadlines and business needs are met
Facilitate confidentiality agreements and coordinate with suppliers before and during sourcing events
Assist in resolving supplier delivery issues and invoice discrepancies
Participate in process-improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Strong digital and analytical skills; familiarity with systems such as Ariba, Snowflake, Beeline, SAP, IBM Cognos, Celonis, Tableau/Power BI is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Effective communicator with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow established processes and safety standards
