Data Engineering Manager

The role involves technical leadership, overseeing data architecture, and ensuring data quality while collaborating with various teams to implement customer data platform solutions.

Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end CDP architecture, with a primary focus on customer unification and ID resolution
Define and govern identity resolution frameworks, including deterministic and probabilistic matching strategies
Design and maintain enterprise-scale identity graphs and golden customer records
Establish best practices for data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and unification on BigQuery
Lead architectural decisions around batch and near-real-time data pipelines
Lead the development of scalable, performant pipelines using BigQuery and GCP data services
Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and observability across customer datasets
Optimize BigQuery usage for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Oversee integrations with downstream systems such as marketing platforms, analytics tools, and activation channels
Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into CDP solutions
Act as a technical mentor and reviewer for CDP and data engineering team members
Drive alignment on customer identity standards across teams and platforms
Provide technical guidance on CDP roadmap, enhancements, and platform evolution
Define and enforce data governance, privacy, and consent management standards
Ensure compliant handling of PII and adherence to regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Establish documentation and knowledge-sharing practices for identity logic and data flows
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following MarTech platforms/CDPs: Adobe (Real-Time CDP), Salesforce (Data Cloud), Treasure Data, Tealium, Twilio Segment, Amperity
