The role involves performing ASME code welding, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met through various welding techniques and inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform ASME code welding on pressure vessels, piping, and structural components
Weld using FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW
Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys
Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
Complete ASME weld logs and quality documentation
Pass non-destructive testing (NDT) for pressure-retaining welds
Use overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts safely
Inspect and repair welds to meet code and quality standards

Required

2+ years of experience welding pressure vessels or pipe (FCAW required)
