Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics-ready data models using dbt
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL transformations that convert raw data into clean, reliable datasets
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data models
Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and freshness through testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines
Support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives by preparing well-structured, high-quality datasets
Implement and maintain best practices for version control, testing, and documentation within dbt
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data platform to support scalability and future growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining SQL
1+ years of experience using dbt to build and manage data models
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical data modeling
Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
Familiarity with data requirements for advanced analytics or machine learning use cases
Experience using Git or other version control systems
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally
