Systems Administrator
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Systems Administrator for an on-site opportunity in Ehrhardt, SC. The candidate is responsible for the reliable operation, security, and maintenance of assigned technology systems and platforms.

Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize assigned systems and platforms
Keep systems current through routine updates, patching, and maintenance
Support system performance, reliability, and availability objectives
Administer user accounts, permissions, and security groups using least-privilege principles
Assist with monitoring, testing, and maintenance of backup and recovery processes
Support cybersecurity controls including secure configuration and vulnerability remediation
Assist with security monitoring and incident response as directed
Install, configure, and deploy new IT equipment and software
Develop and maintain written procedures, training materials, and knowledge base documentation
Produce system documentation, reports, and narratives for management, audit, and regulatory review
Coordinate with external vendors and managed service providers as directed
Support both on-premises and cloud-based systems as assigned
Deploy hardware and software to branch locations as needed
Serve as Tier 1/2 support for the IT help desk when primary help desk staff are unavailable
Qualification
Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in a systems administration or similar technical role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows workstation environments
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and access management
Familiarity with backup systems and basic disaster recovery concepts
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure configurations, and patch management
Experience with help desk ticketing systems and structured IT support processes
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users, management, auditors, and vendors
