Responsibilities

Prepare, research, and process monthly invoices for our Center for Environmental Excellence (CEE) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contract terms
Manage and maintain travel submissions in Concur ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions within established policies, procedures, and deadlines
Assist the Manager in monitoring service contract projects and cost centers, and ensuring alignment between internal tracking and UTShare/Peoplesoft financial system
Support timely closeout of expired contracts using established institutional processes
Provide support for day‑to‑day accounting functions to meet operational needs. Participate in cross‑training to build knowledge of both Division‑specific and general accounting processes, ensuring adequate coverage and business continuity across teams
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
One (1) year of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role
Proficient in Excel skills

Preferred

Experience in Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles
Experience managing service contracts and grants or grant accounting
Experience with Concur and/or PeopleSoft
