The intern will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and talent development under the mentorship of senior team members.

Responsibilities
Support our talent acquisition efforts by reviewing resumes, conducting candidate prescreens, providing feedback to hiring managers, and scheduling interviews
Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and offer coordination
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely and efficient hiring processes
Support the facilitation of team member onboarding process, resources, and check-ins
Review and evaluate department policies and support I-9 self-audit imposed tasks
Participate in training feedback collection and analysis of performance reviews
Assist the HITT Futures Program with programming of the Construction Internship and Externship, coordinating events, and preparing material for the learning curriculum
Support the facilitation of HITT’s learning and development function including trainings and cohorts
Assist with preparation of the company Employee Engagement Survey
Assist with the maintenance of position descriptions for the company
Complete other tasks and projects assigned by various HR stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively internally
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
Must be able to work efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining quality
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of fundamental HR principles and practices
Self-starter with a can-do attitude who is resourceful, a critical thinker, and a problem-solver
Possesses a strong desire to learn and be challenged
Preferred
Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field
Will be a senior during the 2026-2027 school year
