Social Media Specialist

Trillium Health Resources is a Managed Care Organization serving individuals with mental health needs and disabilities across North Carolina. Responsibilities

Manage Trillium’s organic social media presence across approved platforms, including content planning, publishing, and community engagement
Develop and maintain a coordinated social media content calendar aligned with organizational priorities, campaigns, events, and community outreach efforts
Create, curate, and adapt content that is accessible, accurate, respectful, and aligned with Trillium’s mission, values, and brand standards
Track performance metrics and prepare regular analytics reports, translating data into insights and recommendations to improve content strategy and audience engagement
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure message alignment across digital, print, and in-person communications and to educate staff on social media standards and protocols

Required

High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years' experience using social media to promote business communications and/or marketing
OR
Associate's degree and four (4) years' experience using social media to promote business communications and/or marketing
OR
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience using social media to promote business communications and/or marketing
OR
Equivalent combination of education/experience
Must have a valid driver's license
Must reside within Trillium's Catchment of North Carolina. Counties included: Anson, Bertie, Beaufort, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Chowan, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Greene, Guilford, Halifax, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Martin, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, Tyrrell, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Wilson
Must be able to travel within catchment as required

Preferred

Concentration in Marketing to include Social Media, Digital Advertising, Analytics, or Digital Communications
Knowledge or experience related to behavioral health, mental health, developmental disabilities, or substance use services
Certifications and/or trainings from reputable online programs including: HubSpot, Hootsuite, LinkedIn or equivalent certifications and/or trainings
