Employee Assistance Program Manager

They are seeking an Employee Assistance Program Manager to lead the development and administration of Employee Assistance Programs, providing clinical oversight and support for employee well-being and workplace productivity.

Responsibilities
Provides training, education, and consultation to employees, students, and affiliated learners on employee assistance, behavioral health, and workplace well-being topics
Develops and delivers educational programs, workshops, and training initiatives in collaboration with internal departments and external partners
Conducts performance evaluations, determines priorities and plans unit work
Develops, coordinates, plans and manages the employee assistance program
Develops and establishes program policy and procedures. Collaborates with staff to market and contract with other agencies/employers to provide EAP services
Provides clinical supervision and training of counseling students and network affiliate counselors
Assesses and refers clients to appropriate health care providers
Provides clinical services as appropriate, including crisis intervention, consultation, and brief counseling, while ensuring alignment with program scope and delegation to counseling staff
Provides clinical triage, assessment, brief counseling and referral services through in-person, telephonic, or virtual modalities
Maintains contacts with individuals both within and outside of the health center who might impact on program activities
Performs related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or other related field and four (4) years of relevant professional experience
Current Connecticut behavioral health license in an appropriate discipline (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist)
Possess and maintain appropriate license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT and Psychologist in the state of Connecticut
Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) credential is required or must be obtained within a specified period following appointment
Obtain CEAP Certification within two years of employment
Considerable knowledge of relevant agency policies and procedures
Considerable knowledge of relevant State and Federal laws, statutes and regulations
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices employee assistance programs
Considerable knowledge of social, psychosocial, psychiatric, medical, economic and legal factors influencing individual and group behavior
Knowledge of case work methods
Considerable knowledge of community resources
Considerable interpersonal skills
Considerable oral and written communication skills
Ability to plan and execute programs to meet client needs
Knowledge and experience in crisis management
Supervisory ability
