Senior Controls Engineer
Mohawk Technology, LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will lead controls-related projects, ensuring successful design and implementation while collaborating with other engineers and customers.

Responsibilities
Mentoring other controls engineers
Leading controls-related projects ranging from 40 to 2,000+ hours
Designing electrical and network systems and reviewing electrical drawing packages
PLC and HMI programming
Working with the panel shop on control panels
Collaborating with various groups of engineers and customers
Must satisfactorily comply with alcohol and controlled substance company policies
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Traveling estimated at 20-30%
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience designing and programming control systems
Minimum 5 years managing controls-related projects
Experience with control system programming with PID loops
Experience with Rockwell Software (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, etc.) and Rockwell/Allen Bradley hardware (PowerFlex, Kinetix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, etc.)
Network/communication design experience
Ability to specify electrical components of a control system
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft products
Must satisfactorily comply with alcohol and controlled substance company policies
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Driving a vehicle and flying to client and/or Mohawk Technology locations
Moving around large facilities on a frequent basis with multiple floors and rooms
Working long hours, typically 12+, in stressful, on-site environments
Walking, standing, going up and down stairs, sitting, kneeling, crouching, and bending for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and heavier weights on an infrequent basis
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., construction sites, manufacturing floors)
Wearing PPE that complies with customer and company safety standards, including safety-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair nets, smocks, and on occasion, arc flash PPE
