Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of tests of plant influent, effluent and receiving bodies
Examine raw sludge samples
Test pH, alkalinity, volatile solids, total solids, dissolved oxygen, coliform bacteria and residual chlorine
Maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program based on the established guidelines
Perform computations, maintain and prepare records and reports
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and materials
Participation in the on-call and weekend rotation
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
A valid Drivers License
Completion of at least 12 semester units in chemistry or bacteriology
1 year of laboratory testing and analysis experience
