They are seeking a Management Analyst in the Office of Management and Budget to support the annual operating budget process and organizational strategy, ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective service delivery to the community.

Responsibilities
Support the Budget Process: Help develop, analyze, and present the County’s annual operating budgets. Your work will directly inform decisions made by the Budget Director, the County Administrator, and the Board of Supervisors
Collaborate and Solve Problems: Work with departments across the County to advise on financial management, policy development, and performance management. Your analysis can help drive improvements in the effectiveness of County programs and services
Provide Expert Guidance: Become a subject matter expert on the financial and policy decisions affecting your assigned areas of focus. Portfolio assignments can include supporting departments with operating budget planning and analysis, analyzing and forecasting revenues, and/or modeling personnel and benefit costs to support collective bargaining negotiations. You’ll help shape recommendations that impact key resource allocation decisions
Innovate and Lead: Work in an environment that prioritizes creative thinking and high-quality customer service. You’ll contribute to forward-thinking projects in budgeting and long-term forecasting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
three (3) years of related work experience in areas such as government, budget, public policy, or analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience for Management Analyst III
four (4) years of related work experience in areas such as government, budget, public policy, or analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience for Management Analyst IV
thorough knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite
Experience with Oracle or other enterprise resource planning software
Experience with Hyperion
