The Pre-Production Associate will be responsible for organizing the development process before styles go into production, ensuring that tech packs are production ready and acting as a liaison between development and production teams.

Responsibilities
Own the production tech pack finalization process
Maintain PLM material groups with update to date labels, hangtags, hardware, and other production ready items
Work as the liaison between development and production
Attend production hand-off meetings
Update construction pages in Adobe Illustrator for styles once styles have been handed off to production – resubmit TP to factories
Work on all sales requests submitted through and assigned to associate in SmartSheets
Handle A2000 entries, updates, and style maintenance as they arise
Lead the conversation in meetings to ensure that all finalized packaging, labels, and trim codes are ready to include in production tech packs to send to factory
Assign production wash code names
Converse daily with factories to make sure all styles’ production tech packs have been received and are up to standard regarding their pending needs for bulk
Assist rest of Pre-Production & Product Development team as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years Technical Design (garment / apparel) working experience
Adobe Illustrator proficiency
Garment construction expertise
Excel savvy
Preferred
A2000 acquaintance (nice to have)
PLM (any type – nice to have)
