Responsibilities
Schedule all appointments leading up to the patient visit
During the patient's visit, check-in including greeting patients, answering questions, collecting co-payments, and assisting with pre-visit paperwork/forms
At check-out, complete forms and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and/or procedures
Field all incoming telephone calls and route appropriately
Perform referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties
Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity
Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-4 years' experience in healthcare or customer service required
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
