Technical Designer [Contract] (Retro Studios)
Nintendo is a leading company in game development, and they are seeking a Technical Designer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement game UI flows and features. Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and artists to implement game UI flows and elements, front-end menus and features, and assemble in-game and pre-rendered cinematics
Use our proprietary scripting tools, as well as other industry standard tools, to construct systems and assets within technical constraints
Participate in developing workflows and new or enhanced technical tools
Maintain positive momentum with the work and team members during production
Produce clear design documentation
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working on action-adventure game titles
A working knowledge of standard industry game engines, toolsets and production pipelines
Willingness to be open and flexible when collaborating with others to achieve creative goals
Strong organizational, communication and influencing skills
Include examples of prior work or have it available upon request
Preferred
Passion for Nintendo and Retro titles preferred
