Responsibilities
Researching the latest generation of AI models to understand their capabilities and potential applications
Obtaining and cleaning training data sets to prepare them for use in training AI models
Developing feature encodings to extract meaningful information from the data
Coding and implementing machine learning methods to build and train AI models
Analyzing and validating models with statistical techniques to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness
Developing interfaces for exploring and utilizing AI to make it easy for others to use the models I develop
Work in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
1-3 years of experience using machine learning tools in an academic and/or job setting
Strong coding skills in Python, R, MATLAB, or similar data science coding languages
Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or Keras
Strong understanding of data analytic techniques and the ability to implement these approaches
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate my findings and recommendations effectively
Thrive under pressure and be able to deliver results in a timely manner
Preferred
Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred
