Senior Contract Administrator

Responsibilities

Perform all duties of contract administration, including correspondence, documentation, evaluation, financial reporting, and other processes related to government contracting
Participate in the negotiation of contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with relevant regulations
Administer contract awards and modifications for compliance with FAR, DFAR and other regulations
Participate in the preparation of proposals including pricing and scheduling details and coordination of requirements as needed
Prepare Consulting Agreements, Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements
Ensure timely processing of technical reports and deliverables
Participate in special projects as required
Interface with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff related to contract issues and actions
Track and monitor the execution of tasks
Perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal, Contract Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration, with significant experience in government contracting environments
Ability to read and interpret documents such as data rights, safety rules, federal regulations, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Must be able to communicate effectively with others in various roles in and outside of the company
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to change
Must have the ability to work well with others
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required

Preferred

Strong understanding of DFAR/FAR Data Rights is desired
Experience administering manufacturing/product type contracts is desired
