Responsibilities

Conduct data collection to acquire primary data for Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emission categories
Maintain and improve environmental processes and controls to ensure integrity and accuracy of data
Maintain and improve processes for data collection, aggregation, validation and reporting
Perform regular data quality control and validation checks utilizing Envizi software
Engage with internal and external auditors for client’s GHG inventory third-party verification
Maintain the client’s GHG Inventory Management Plan to reflect current data sources and methodologies
Manage shifting priorities and scope
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
Explain complex information to others in a straightforward and concise manner

Required

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
Understanding of GHG accounting procedures and standards to solve complex problems
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents
A proactive, self-starter work style
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations

Preferred

CEM and/or AEE CAP preferred
Envizi software knowledge preferred
