Responsibilities
Design end-to-end user experiences for online and mobile banking, including:
Account onboarding
Loan and credit card applications
Payments, transfers, and bill pay
Digital servicing workflows
Create and maintain personas, user flows, information architecture, journey maps, and interactive prototypes
Design responsive web experiences and native mobile apps (iOS & Android)
Apply design methodologies such as Design Thinking, User-Centered Design (UCD), and Double Diamond
Conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating insights into design decisions
Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.x and ADA accessibility standards for U.S. digital experiences
Partner with cross-functional teams to align UX with business, technical, and compliance requirements
Maintain and scale design systems to ensure consistency across platforms
Incorporate regulatory considerations such as disclosures, fraud prevention, and clarity in financial user interfaces
Qualification
Required
10+ years of UX design experience
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including: Auto layout, Components, Prototyping, Design systems
Experience designing for credit unions, banks, or fintech platforms
Strong understanding of digital banking workflows and financial services UX
Expertise in responsive design and mobile-first experiences
Experience with Salesforce Administration and Functional Design
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x, ADA)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred
Prior experience working in regulated financial environments
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and usability best practices in fintech
Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences
