Qualification
Required
Five years plus of direct experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining SQL databases in Linux/Windows environments
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments
Perform database upgrades, patches, backups, and recovery operations
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency
Manage database security, user access, and roles
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or other tools
Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues
Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies
5 years' IT database experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Bachelors degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science concentration, preferably with a minimum five years related experience
Associate degree with equivalent experience
Database related certifications a plus
AWS certifications a plus
