Responsibilities
Monitor network alarms and respond promptly to incidents and customer calls
Open, manage, and close trouble tickets while ensuring accurate documentation
Analyze, diagnose, isolate, and resolve network and service issues
Coordinate repairs with field operations, technical support teams, and vendors
Assist with equipment restoration activities, including card swaps and maintenance procedures
Follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and proactively identify potential issues
Correlate multiple trouble reports and escalate issues when required
Provide Tier I technical support for supported platforms
Communicate clearly with internal teams, external providers, and customers
Ensure proper follow-up and closure of assigned incidents
Qualification
Required
Telecommunications experience in a NOC or network operations environment
Knowledge of Broadband / DSLAM network architecture and topology
Basic understanding of Ethernet routers, switches, and ATM networks
Familiarity with EMS, OSS, network inventory, alarming, and provisioning systems
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred
Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC)
Background as a Technical Support Analyst or Specialist
Industry or technical certifications
Demonstrated operational or customer service excellence
