Responsibilities

The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and test software for cryptographic or software-defined radio infrastructure, utilizing embedded and real-time systems development tools
Duties include working within an Agile environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams (Systems Engineering, Hardware, Integration & Test), and analyzing system capabilities to resolve programming and control issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or STEM with 5+ years of experience; Master's with 3+ years; PhD with 1+ year
Proficient in C/C++ and Object-Oriented programming
Experience with the full software lifecycle process (requirements to testing)
Experience integrating firmware/software in real-time multi-threaded embedded applications
Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems
Familiarity with Static Analysis and Unit Testing
Experience using Jira/Bitbucket/Git and Agile processes

Preferred

Experience with Software Defined Radios
Experience with Xilinx platforms (Zynq, Ultrascale+, VERSAL)
Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, Ethernet)
Experience implementing cryptographic mechanisms
DoD Secret clearance
