Post- Doctoral Research Associate
Brown University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to perform multi-modality computer-aided analysis research in medical imaging studies. The role involves developing and deploying advanced automatic analysis pipelines and participating in ongoing funded projects and mentored research.

Responsibilities
Serving as the research associate for current medical imaging research projects, including but not limited to a study automatic analysis of imaging-based diagnosis
Assisting Principal Investigators in the department with grant-writing. If desired, applicants may have an opportunity to pursue their own grants as Principal Investigator
Assisting with manuscript writing and preparation as a co-author
Pursuing independent research if desired and opportunities arise
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A PhD degree upon start date is required. The doctorate degree should be in computer science, pattern recognition, biomedical engineering, or a related field
Experience writing manuscripts. A strong publication record on machine learning, computer vision, and/or medical imaging is required (full-length top journals and/or conferences papers)
Minimum 3 years' research experience in a related discipline
Experience managing research projects
Experience with coding in Python and MATLAB is required
Preferred
Experience with grant writing is preferred
