As a Planning Intern, you will gain practical experience by assisting planners with data collection, community meetings, and various planning projects, including comprehensive plans and zoning ordinance development.

Assisting our planners with collecting and preparing data for a variety of projects

Assist with community meetings

Research activities

Other municipal, environmental and transportation planning projects

Gain experience in comprehensive plans

Communications and public engagement

Qualification

Required

Selected candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in urban planning, public policy, geography, public Administration or other closely related field from an accredited college

Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.8 GPA; Desired GPA 3.2 or above

This opportunity is for qualified students attending the University of Minnesota and who have applied for the Krusell Fellowship

Students must possess a valid driver's license and their own transportation or have ability to use public transportation
