Maintenance Technical Planner

Responsibilities

Lead weekly meetings with internal stakeholders to track the status of Site Maintenance Job Orders (JOs)
Partner with Site and Cross-Functional Leads to determine paths to bring JOs to closure
Partner with internal stakeholders on monthly JO audit reviews to ensure best practices are met
Support the Logistics team in coordinating materials, parts, tools, documentation, and test equipment for the Site
Coordinate daily and weekly tasks with the FMS Maintenance Integration Technical Lead
Participate in the development and management of maintenance plans for site upgrades
Provide input and/or mitigation on sustainment activities to ensure robust plans, procedures, and tools are in place for maintenance activities
Review Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) tasks and Technical Manuals to ensure the accuracy of schedule definitions
Collaborate with the Site team to address waived or deferred PMCS tasks
Partner with Sustaining Engineering teams to track the status of applicable Field Bulletins (FBs) and validate the integrity of FB data in Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS)
Review applicable Change Notices (CNs) and validate the integrity of CN related JOs in ALCS
Partner with the FMS Maintenance Integration Technical Lead on executing CN implementation plans
Advocate for the needs of the sustainment teams (both reach-back and at-site) leading up to radar operation and maintenance events based on a robust understanding of the capabilities of the AN/TPY-2 radar system
This role will require approximately 15% international travel

Required

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience utilizing support equipment to troubleshoot system issues and/or install system upgrades
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Secret - Current security clearance status required on day 1

Preferred

Experience in logistics management and sustaining engineering of complex systems of systems with large numbers of COTS products and customer configuration items, including familiarity with industry standard management tools
Experience supporting military programs in operating, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting the AN/TPY-2 radar system
Experience with Integration and test (I&T) in fielded, mission critical systems and technical expertise in troubleshooting radar system anomalies
Experience working in a multi discipline environment facilitating cross organizational solutions in response to objectives
Self-starter with capability to work independently with strong communication and interpersonal skills
