The Analyst will support workforce planning, data analysis, and strategic initiatives within the VA Office of Information and Technology, focusing on data collection, analysis, and workforce optimization solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of workforce supply and demand using internal data and external benchmarks
Assist in developing visualizations (e.g., dashboards, charts) to communicate workforce trends and capability gaps
Prepare briefing materials, status reports, and executive summaries for leadership
Support the identification of skills shortages and future hiring needs
Contribute to workforce solution design, including training, recruitment strategies, and organizational alignment
Collaborate with HR, program managers, and IT leadership to collect data and validate findings

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in workforce analysis, HR analytics, or program support
Proficient in Excel and tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience supporting federal agencies, especially VA or DoD
Familiarity with OPM workforce planning guidance and data sources
