Sales Intern
Oak Wood Ventures is a company that operates a portfolio of multifamily and manufactured housing communities across the United States. The Sales Intern will support the sales and marketing efforts, engaging with prospects, assisting with lead follow-up, and learning about inside sales and digital marketing.

Responsibilities
Support the sales team by assisting with inbound inquiries via phone, email, text, and social media
Learn to engage prospects by answering questions, sharing community and home information, and identifying buyer needs
Assist with lead qualification and scheduling tours for onsite sales teams
Execute follow-up tasks for warm and active leads under the guidance of sales leadership
Help maintain accurate records in the CRM, ensuring lead activity and notes are up to date
Assist with updating online listings and social media content, including inventory highlights, promotions, and community updates
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns and promotions
Shadow experienced sales professionals to learn objection handling, consultative selling, and closing strategies
Track basic performance metrics such as lead volume and response time
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, real estate communications, or any related field
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Interest in sales, marketing, real estate, social media, or housing
Comfortable engaging with people via phone and digital channels
Organized detail oriented and eager to learn
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM experience is a plus, but not required

Positive high-energy attitude with a willingness to take initiative
Coachable and open to feedback in a performance-oriented environment
Strong work ethic with curiosity about sales strategy and buyer behavior
Comfortable representing a professional brand across digital platforms
Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills preferred
