Responsibilities
Lead and support EMI/EMC testing and compliance activities
Ensure compliance with IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 60601-1-11 , and related standards
Analyze complex electrical issues, perform root cause analysis , and recommend corrective actions
Develop, review, and manage test protocols, reports, and regulatory documentation
Coordinate and communicate with external test laboratories
Support lab testing and troubleshooting activities as required
Provide compliance guidance across development and sustaining engineering efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
8+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a regulated industry
Strong expertise in EMI/EMC testing and compliance
Hands-on experience with IEC 60601 series standards
Proven ability to manage compliance documentation and regulatory reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Medical device industry experience
Experience with medical imaging, specimen radiology systems, or similar devices
Background in sustaining engineering, end-of-life component assessment, or field issue resolution
Ability to work independently while supporting lab activities as needed
