Responsibilities
Collaborate with the data team, developers, product managers, and data scientists to address data challenges and contribute to impactful solutions
Communicate effectively with diverse audiences to understand data requirements and explain technical concepts
Implement best practices for service-oriented architecture and contribute to establishing quality standards
Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines using common backend languages (preferably Python)
Support the integration of RESTful APIs to facilitate data flows across various applications
Contribute to data modeling, database design, and data architecture initiatives
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience in data engineering, including hands-on experience in building data pipelines using a common backend language (preferably Python)
Knowledge of data warehousing and modeling, with some experience working with Oracle Data Warehouse and other relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MSSQL
Good understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles
Familiar with integrating or extending RESTful APIs to facilitate data flows across applications
Working knowledge of cloud-native platforms like Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure, and understands the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Preferred
Basic familiarity with the .NET Framework and WCF Services
