Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design of the quantum biochip, including architecture, materials integration, and nanoscale sensor design
Oversee bench testing, biocompatibility assessments, and in vitro/in vivo validation studies in alignment with FDA and ISO standards
Develop a scalable manufacturing roadmap, collaborating with semiconductor foundries, bio-MEMS partners, and precision fabrication vendors
Drive cross-functional collaboration with quantum physicists, oncologists, materials scientists, and regulatory consultants
Define data acquisition and signal processing architecture, integrating quantum outputs into interpretable clinical readouts
Prepare documentation and technical reports supporting intellectual property filings, regulatory submissions, and investor presentations
Guide risk management, design controls, and quality systems in compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 60601 frameworks
Support early-stage clinical translation strategy and prototype-to-pilot manufacturing transition

Required

PhD or equivalent experience in Biomedical Engineering, Quantum Physics, Nanotechnology, or Electrical Engineering
Proven track record of leading design and development of implantable or diagnostic medical devices
Strong understanding of biocompatible materials, MEMS/NEMS fabrication, and signal processing methodologies
Familiarity with FDA Class III device development pathways, including pre-submission and IDE requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills for interfacing with scientific teams, investors, and regulatory bodies
Ability to operate in early-stage, high-ambiguity environments, translating research innovation into scalable, compliant design

Preferred

Experience with quantum sensors, photonics, or spin-based nanosensing preferred
