Responsibilities
Contracting third party logistic service providers
Prepare and run Sourcing Events & RFX for the categories in scope, dealing with all relevant stakeholders (service providers, internal customers and cross functional teams)
Collect data, complete market research, define terms and conditions, negotiate proposals and finalize SLA’s/KPI’s
Manage service providers, follow market trends and legislative changes
Implement purchasing policy and best practices
Benchmark new logistics opportunities to best align with company goals
Maintain the database of new/potential partners to include in future Sourcing Events
Track logistics spend, perform detailed analysis and report results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 5 years in transportation sourcing, or procurement experience in Indirect Spend areas
Experience in Project Management or Logistics Operations is a plus
Experience with e-Procurement platforms
Operational autonomy, self-reliance but able to play in a team
Excellent interpersonal communication (stakeholder management)
Professionalism, discretion, reliability and ability to make data driven decision
Preferred
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
