Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in the operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines
Encompass setup of machines to help support technology development programs
Reading machine setup sheets, tool lists, and other related documents
Designing and developing tooling and fixtures for manufacturing
Working with a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Position requires an associates degree or higher and 4 years minimum experience in a machining environment
Experience designing and developing tooling and fixtures for manufacturing
Proficient in working with a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys
Experience operating lathes, 3,4, & 5 axis CNC machines
Reading machine setup sheets, tool lists, and other related documents
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with AS9100 process
Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with ERP systems (Cetec)
Experience with aerospace hardware
Experience with Mazak CNCs (Smooth AI)
Experience with Mastercam and Solidworks
