Responsibilities
Own and support the enterprise application environment across finance, operations, and field services
Partner with managed service providers to support and enhance existing systems
Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders and technical teams, translating business requirements into system solutions
Manage and mentor a small internal reporting team
Evaluate current system utilization and identify improvement and optimization opportunities
Establish documentation, SOPs, and process flows where limited documentation currently exists
Coordinate application upgrades, patching, and version control with infrastructure teams
Evaluate and manage Application Managed Services (AMS) providers
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline manual business processes
Act as a technical advisor to leadership on enterprise applications and emerging technologies
Support the planning and execution of a future ERP or large-scale system implementation
Provide executive-level reporting on application initiatives, risks, and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years leading enterprise application environments
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, data flows, and system security
Experience supporting or participating in ERP or large-scale system implementations
Experience managing external vendors, AMS providers, and consulting partners
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
Hands-on experience with SQL and data-driven applications
Strong documentation and business process mapping capabilities
ERP-agnostic background; experience with platforms such as Oracle, Dynamics, or Acumatica is a plus
Experience supporting Java-based applications
Familiarity with on-prem systems hosted in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
