WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

Supervises, reviews, and evaluates the timely completion of program and activity reports. Compiles and submits weekly supervisory and management reports, and reviews work products submitted by staff for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Trains staff on program guidelines, regulations, and agency policies and procedures. Conducts annual performance planning sessions and quarterly performance reviews. Facilitates staff meetings as needed and coordinates the development and delivery of training and technical assistance
Compiles and analyzes information, tracks services, reports outcomes, and assists with problem resolution. Supports program design and workflow improvements, develops forms and documentation for reporting and tracking results, and drafts and disseminates required program information
Assists with the development and implementation of the State Plan and funding applications, program policies and procedures, and program budgets, and performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Six years of experience in workforce development, administrative services, or social services
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of experience in workforce development, administrative services, or social services
A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in workforce development, administrative services, or social services
A master's degree plus two years of experience in workforce development, administrative services, or social services
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field
