Responsibilities
Perform engineering duties including planning, designing and construction supervision of buildings and water/sewage systems
Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and storm water management
Complete data entry and analysis using Excel and ArcGIS
Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies
Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies
Prepare civil engineering technical memorandums and reports
Use geospatial and hydraulic software including ArcGIS, ICPR, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to perform engineering assignments
Complete hydraulic calculations for pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and other water infrastructure
Assist in preparing cost estimates and schedules for various water and wastewater master planning projects
Travel required approximately 3-5 days a week to domestic construction sites within the state for inspections
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
Plus two years of work experience as a Civil Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, or a related occupation
